With silver chinese characters and red and white logo bearing a cow, you cannot miss Yee Shun Milk Company along the busy Nathan Road. And if you are like me, who loves all things milky and creamy, you definitely cannot miss Yee Shun Milk Company when you are in Hong Kong. It is by far my favourite dessert place.
Yee Shun Milk Company not only serves desserts, but they also have also expanded to include breakfast sets and lunch sets. But my mission there was clear - steamed milk. Good old pure steamed milk.
The sight of the steamed milk is already such a delight. Amidst the chaos of the endless menu and the bright red order chit, the white steamed milk stood out like a pure, delicate angel.
And this pure, delicate angel was indeed heavenly. The steamed milk pudding at Yee Shun Milk Company was smooth and creamy, and the taste of the milk was nicely preserved, but not too heavy on the palate. It was ultimate bliss to have this fluffy white pudding fill my mouth (so tempted to use the word 'orgasmic' but I do not want to place unfortunate images in your mind) - very, very lovely!
If money and calories mean nothing in this world, I would finish all the desserts that they have on display at Yee Shun Milk Company. Nothing is more blissful than bowls and bowls of happiness that sweetens both your palates and your hearts. Yee Shun Milk Company is a must-try when you are in Hong Kong. There are many outlets across the island, and there are also outlets in Macau too. Eat milk and be merry!
